Mental Health is a subject at the top of everyone’s agendas right now.
The subject of Mental Health in the workplace has inspired global discussion with a huge range of views and potential outcomes.
We are bringing solution to leaders that may be confused about how to react to the
growing demand for Mental Health services within Insurance Industry.
We have created a clear set of Minimum Standards that you can work with.

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU
LikeMind is a market wide Mental Health Insurance Network, the first of its kind created by passionate volunteers from across the insurance sector.
We influence and encourage open discussions, proactive management, champion best practice, create open events, share useful resources and provide an overarching support network within the insurance industry.
OUR GOAL
LikeMind’s goal is to create a collective forum that produces and provides Mental Health best practice.
A place where subject matter experts can share their knowledge and expertise with companies who need it, and where organisations can provide feedback on what is happening in their business so we can all stay ahead of the curve.
MISSION
We believe that standing together, united, in support
of best Mental Health practices across our Industry is
the right, and responsible thing to do.
We understand that better Mental Health benefits us all, and that there is a cost to doing nothing.
To promote early intervention, understanding,
and compassion across our industry, and beyond,
without fear of judgment, or discrimination.
Why do attitudes matter?
Living with mental health problems is hard enough, without having to work in an environment that can lead to isolation, shame and judgement.
Lack of understanding can lead to dismissive or minimising attitudes which can impact Mental Health.
Employers have a legal as well as moral ‘duty of care’. This means they must do all they reasonably can to support their employees’ health, safety and wellbeing.
Why Mental Heath is our focus?
Growing number of deaths nationally from drugs, alcohol, and suicide
50% of millennials report having left a job due to mental health reasons
Absenteeism and presenteeism in the workplace are costing employers between £33
billion and £35.2 billion a year
Constantly present stressors and seemingly endless demands on our time.
